Heritage Resources

Leila-McPhillips Triangle was part of the City of West Kildonan (incorporated in 1961) when it became part of the City of Winnipeg which came into legal existence on January 1, 1972.

Leila-McPhillips Triangle is an oddly shaped neighbourhood that includes two pockets of residential development, in the north and the south, both built up in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The single family dwellings around Jack Kolt Place date to the early 2000s. There is also significant commercial property in the neighbourhood along its eastern border ( McPhillips Street).

A Manitoba Hydro right-of-way cuts through the neighbourhood.
